How do you know if you are a part of A PlayTest?

I saw few features that aren't on my Friends and Relatives' Phones. Does that mean I am on Beta(Playtest) or I am on a normal mode?

I am also seeing the Popcorn Blockers changed and the New Sparkly Effects, Crazy Cat Lad had earlier mentioned...

I am not talking about features like Fantastic 5, they are there on all decices...

In the screenshot above you see a grid layout for events... Also, there is something similar to Saltnado in my game...

There are no players that are always in the AB test groups or that are so called beta testers.

All new features and major changes always get tested to a small group of players first. The players in the group get chosen randomly by a computer, which means that you can have several AB tests at the same time or just one or none.

No players are in an exclusive beta tester group, all players may get an AB test feature in their game.

@DeepshikhaSharan There is no way of telling which features are available to everyone as they are randomly picked. So lots of people will have different features. You will always find you will have different features available to you than your friends and vice versa as no one will get all the features available. they can also be device specific, so if you play multi device you can find you will have features on one device but not on another. for instance the free spin wheel which a lot of people have lost i had on all 3 devices i play, now i only have it on two and was removed from the feature on the third

As for your new layout this will be normal some people will have reverted to the new layout others not. the feature that you say is like saltnado is part of the festive events week and again not everyone will get this it will be given to a randomly selected group of people.

Post below shows another expert on page 2 with same layout as you but i am yet to revert to this layout, but not checked my phone device as play mostly on windows 10 app

The event is called Winter Festival but it isn't mentioned anywhere...

Also, there is a huge bug with it...
