Why am I not receiving lives from friends?

I'm on the latest version, I've logged off and back on, I know friends are sending me lives.... none are coming through. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this?

Very sorry but unfortunately there is an issue with facebook which is troubling some players for sending or recieving lives. Studios are working on it and hopefully soon it will be solved.

There is currently an issue with sending and receiving lives from Facebook , At present this is being investigated and we will update when we have any news on a fix for this

Please check App update> Sign out game> Restart device and wait 5 minutes after power on> Open game and sign in. Still it might not work due to a common issue under investigation.
