Candy saga app won’t load- level 5997

I’m on level 5997, and hadn’t saved my progress. On level 5997, I went to one of the other areas to try to get boosters when I was thrown to the orange screen. I couldn’t get back in.

Now, when I try to open candy crush saga it only shows the orange screen for a few seconds and then disappears, leaving only my Home Screen. Interestingly, if I double click my home button, the Saga screen orange page appears, but goes away after a few seconds after I click on it. I have to swipe it away to close the app. The app never notifies that it is opening.

I’ve tried updating the operating system, closing down my iPhone and restarting, reloading the app with the file save option. Nothing works.

There must be a bug in one of the files, likely one that has data from outside the core game itself.

I want to save my level 5997 and not completely erase all data and reload the app itself.

How can I fix this? Can I delete any temporary files while retaining my progress?

Please help. This is 5 years of playing Candy Crush Saga!

I did everything suggested and I still get the orange screen.

@Trumpy Hi and welcome, please check your device and game are up to date and log out the game and clear the safari browser (important) then restart you device and log back in and see if this resolves you issue.

If you have an iphone back up to the icloud or iTunes as if you do have to do an uninstall there is a chance you boosters can be restored, but this is not guarenteed . I have done in the past and retained my boosters but as stated there is a chance you can LOSE all your stored BOOSTERS
