Please contact Google Play Support directly to see if they can refund these purchases. Google handles all transactions and purchases in all your games and apps.
Please note that if you didn't have any pin or password on the device nor any purchase confirmation required on your Google Play account and therefore didn't have your payment details protected from any unauthorized usage, Google Play may not refund you.
I would recommend to add a password or pin on your device, but also a purchase confirmation on your Google Play account, alternatively remove your payment details completely. Lastly, never lend out your device nor allow anyone to enter your device where they have access to your payment details.
