Sounds like you have the New candy connections feature and as of yet this is awaiting a fix. So there is nothing we can do regarding our friends list until this has been resolved.

Due to the new feature the old leaderboards have been removed from the game, but it is hoped when feature is fully functional that there will be a new leaderboard.

he leaderboards are slowly being removed from the game and being replaced with the new feature Candy connections that Freddy_ has linked to you above. Unfortunately at the moment the feature is not working correctly due to a Facebook issue which they are working on
