Progress LOST!!!
I have been playing this game since 2 years, and have managed to reach to level 1199. I play on my mobile. Now, I tried to connect to facebook so that I dont lose my progress. I clicked on the save my progress icon at the beginning of the game for this and logged in through my facebook account. When I got back into the game, my levels had dropped to 288!! What I wanted to avoid, is precisely what has happened. This is very disheartening and disappointing. Please help me get back to my progress!!! ):

Hello @amritas11 I could be wrong, but it reads like you must have played Candy Crush in Facebook previously and by signing in you have inadvertently reverted back to the game you last played in Facebook. You do not need Facebook to save your progress a King.com account would have worked for you.
In this instance I think the best thing you can do is to contact King directly asking them to reinstate your level progress. The link below is how you get in touch.

According to your statement, I think when you were trying to save the game via Facebook, the unsaved game progress was connected to another Facebook, where already had a game account (level 288). If this is the case then you have completely lost the progress of the unsaved game.
Please check again if you connected the game to the correct Facebook and let us know. Even if it does happen, we will be able to reach you to the right level๐
