What do you say to hiding candies, specifically boosters, blockers (especially time bombs), and mystery candies (Easter eggs) under an exploded cake plate? Depending on the game, whatever candies might be appropriate. Then they activate when the player removes the plate.
Now that I'm thinking about it, since we stack plates in the kitchen, maybe putting a second cake plate under the one on top might be even more diabolical!
Thanks, Robin
First, mystery candies are removed
Second, the cake bomb is an immovable blocker, which means no candies should go through it until it's destroyed
Third, what's the purpose for you hiding candies under the cake bomb when you can destroy it outside? This makes it completely useless
Hello and welcome
It sounds interesting, but it can also be too much. You also want to be able to finish the level. So there would be even more movements.
What do you say?
It's an interesting idea, for sure! However, this would make the cake into a type of lock, which is currently is not. Currently the cake is classed as a 4-tile blocker without gravity, where each tile has 2 layers. Gravity-less blockers (like frosting, bubble pop etc) do not currently have the ability to have anything (other than jelly) underneath them.
A similar effect could be achieved by an orderlock with the cake as the key though. However, completely hiding candies isn't really something we like doing. We want the players to be able to see what will happen throughout the level when they start, so they can plan out their strategy!
Hello @Bucinka - welcome to our friendly community and appreciate your creative idea. Since the Kingster, @LindQ explained that the studio doesn't like to completely hide candies I am going to close this idea. However please keep thinking of new ways to help improve the game and feel free to share them here in the ideas area. π
