Yes, all of the King games' temporary functions and events are test features that the Studio randomly releases to groups of players. I've already used both several times π

Here is the level I have reached so far -- level 9846,so I have completed 50+ and will.try to complete more by the contest deadline of August 13.

I've had the badge a long time ago, but I keep playing well to maybe get the GB. Due to the power ice function, it went quite well. I am posting on August 12th in the evening my picture and add up my levels. I hope that's okay!
