Is there a way to opt out of Sweet Crew aside from playing in Airplane Mode?

Just got a forced entry into Sweet Crew (terrible idea, forcing people into something, should give people a choice) and am wondering if there's a way out aside from Airplane Mode. Don't care if it limits my boosters or earnings, I just want out of Sweet Crew.

@DukeSR8 Like every Event/Feature in Candy Crush (other than F5 & Master Trophy) there is no way to opt out of Sweet Crew.

Well looks like it's Airplane Mode for me then. Terrible design to not let you opt out (not as bad as Odus spam though).

@DukeSR8 On the plus side Sweet Crew doesn't last that long, or didn't for me anyway.

Sweet Crew provides you with lollipop hammers, lives, and moves. At the start I was exactly like you, and I was like 'oh man I don't want to be in a game with other people' In the end I barely noticed the feature was there. Other than having to select send lives every once in a while I found it very ignorable.

I agree with everyone else, it's a terrible thing to force people into sweet crew. Should have a choice. I want out.....

Hi, I just joined up because I wanted to comment on this issue as well!! I just enjoy chilling and playing Candy Crush when it suits and the last thing I want to do is join a team - WHY CAN'T WE DECLINE 😒 a real spoiler......

I agree with everyone. Entrapment is not good, even in Candy Crush

I don't think I'm receiving gifts from the other players. So am I understanding this correctly? When I send the other two players lives they are coming out of my inventory? If so, I would like out also

I want to opt out too. Sometimes I can’t get out of the pop up when it tells me to donate. I have to double click to rid the screen then start it up again
