Is there a way to opt out of Sweet Crew aside from playing in Airplane Mode?

Hello @mzparakeet I have never understood the ire caused by Sweet Crew as I don't see what the issue is with receiving free moves/lives/lollipop every now and again. The free items cost you absolutely nothing other than clicking a button

You don't get a choice regarding whether or not you compete in the Episode Race, Candy Royale, or the Weekly Contest and they are 'group' events as well.

Why oh why do they force me to participate in Sweet Crew. I do not like it and don’t like being forced to be on a “team”. It gives me 2 “free” moves then forces me to pay 16 (instead of the normal 10) for any extra moves.

When it comes around next time, make sure YOU are the player giving the two extra moves, that way you won't have this problem.

When you have to get in the crew it is very important that you are the one who gives away the "extra moves" otherwise you are doomed.

When you choose the other options and you don't finish a level, you get only 2 extra moves instead of the 3-6 with ufo Booster

I only have sweet crew on my mobile (is it a mobile event only?) but it does not cause me any problems as @Alienscar has mentioned it is quite ignorable. I always choose being the player who gives the extra moves too just like @christinewupp. I wonder what would happen if everyone always made the choice to be the player giving extra moves?

in my experience, nothing comes from your inventory. It’s all freebies you’re sending and receiving for Sweet Crew.
