The world of gaming is taking a dynamic turn recently and it will only keep going that way from here on out. Yes, Candy Crush is fun. However, people will eventually get tired of playing for just fun while they can play other mobile games which are equally as fun for financial rewards.
I propose that Candy Crush be made a Play to Earn game where players share in the revenue generated by the company. This can be done by creating a cryptocurrency (token). Using the crypto model ensures that the actual revenue of the company is not really touched by the share received by players.
For the sake of this discussion, let's call our token 'King'.
Firstly, when the token is created, it can be airdropped to players based on their current levels. This serves to take advantage of the vast player base of the game to promote instant mass adoption of the token. No token gets to have about one million holders instantly, but King's can because we already have the community.
Secondly, when players amass points from the game, these points can be converted to King and then sold in the open market.
This ensures that the company is well-positioned for the future of gaming.
This shouldn't be seen as pessimism, however, we've seen many top companies such as Kodak, Nokia, Blackberry, etc, all failing because they simply didn't move in the direction the industry was heading.
Hello @Esque10 whilst your idea is really well put together, and makes a lot of sense it is unfortunately a duplicate idea. Duplicate ideas aren't allowed in this part of the forum I am sorry to say.
