I beg to differ @Uglybubba I don't think Candy Crush is a competitive game at all. The aim of Candy Crush is to complete a level, and advance towards the end of the map. You track your progress by how far you have moved on the map, and not by comparison to other players position on the map.
When a game has over two hundred million players a leader board that is split into groups of thirty or so players is redundant as an indicator of how well you are doing in the game.
