What happened to the extra moves when you click on give up?
Have been able to get them up until game 6203 and with only 23 moves this level definitely needs xtra moves

I wish I knew Carol. Of all the changes made by King this is the one that really makes no sense at all to me. The only result that I can see for this test is loads of complaints from frustrated players.
If King are reducing the amount of lives and not giving extra moves what is the point of playing.
That is something I have said already Carol the double whammy of reduced lives and now no extra moves will surely see players leaving en masse.
I can't imagine that even those who can afford to pay or others who struggle to pay would be happy with this.
That is my guess as to what this test is all about. The only thing that King can be testing by removing the extra moves is to see how many buy moves, or how many stop playing. Nothing else makes sense.
Alternatively this could be their answer to the life limit. The change to the life limit has seriously upset people that buy things for their games and I don't think King saw this coming. I think that by removing or changing the frequency of the extra moves and giving people back the ability to send and receive lives they hope to get those people buying again.

Hi Foxy seeing as last time this happened to you the issue fixed itself all I can suggest is that you stop playing other than to collect the Booster Wheel booster and check that the extra moves feature is back in your game. Obviously you will have to play a level once to check for the extra moves, but I would suggest just play the once and save your boosters & lives until the feature is working again.

Then yesterday, QueenB posted an update on this thread that it was a bug, and the Studio was working on a fix.
How long can it take to find a fix??
When there was a bug in the Season Pass that actually favoured the players, it was fixed within hours.

Someone got a reply from support. Itās not a bug. Itās a test.
They are testing how much money people are willing to spend on extra moves. If they make more money by having them disappeared, of course it will be a permanent thing. And if this becomes permanent. Iām quitting. I have spent a lot of money on boosters and gold bars. I will not spend over 50 bars to pass a level ā¦.
To buy those 15 extra moves right now would cost 10 gold bars for the first 5, 16 for the next and 25 for the next.
51 gold bars to (maybe) pass one level! And then most likely end up needing extra moves within another level or two.
Who has that kind of money to spare?! Not me. Not anyone.
If this really is a bug (which tbh I doubt), get it sorted asap King.
I think this game wants us to leaveā¦ the extra moves havenāt come back and I have less moves in my level. Pass it with only 13 moves is insane. Ciao!

Thanks to this greedy move, Iām quitting the game. Iāve been trying to stop for months and Iāve been spending way too much money. But I wonāt spend money on 5 extra moves. Iām on level 2,549 and I need at least 15 extra moves on a hard level unless I get a lucky board. Spending over 26 gold bars to pass every level is something I wont do
shame on you King games for being so greedy. A company that makes billions ā¦
OMG! On Facebook I got the extra moves for two levels, but now it has disappeared again!
AND, they reduced the number of the times of movement!
Ya the windows version for me is still from the 27 of July so I don't think they have it out yet for us.

On Facebook, the extra moves have come back, but on my i-Phone, not yet.

I had 30 extra moves on my iPhone and iPad and went back to play and itās back to 5 extra moves for 10 gold bars. Where are all of my extra moves? What are they ruining now?!?!
Seems to be disappearing for everyone. Another change to make us spend more $$$.
The fact that we frequently need 20 or 30 extra moves to complete some levels speaks volumes about the state of the game.

I play on two devices and I only updated Candy Crush on one device which is the one that does not give the extra moves. Today I was able to pass 3 nightmarishly hard levels with 35 extra moves on the device that was not updated āŗļø
Thatās great! I was trying that on level 12142 also nightmarishly hard with 28 moves and my 35 extra moves disappeared!! I tried turning off both devices and back on but still gone. Very frustrating.
No they arenāt. The number of moves you receive when you use 10 gold bars used to go up after many attempts. Now, for the last few days it is stuck on 5 extra moves for 10 bars. Many people pay for the 10 bars if they know they can complete the levelā¦but they wonāt (I wonāt) for just 5 moves.
Just like getting lives from friends. Itās all messed up and not in the players favor. It is what it isā¦

I am FURIOUS that they pulled this garbage on us. I am on level 12211 and spent money on a package last night to finish the board when all of a sudden after the update the extra moves disappeared. I spent $20 to only pass 3 levels and spent almost 6 hours on this level with every single booster and was still not able to pass it. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to pass with the amount of lives given. I feel completely screwed over right now with the extra moves being taken away. I shouldnāt have to use a crap load of gold bars to pass a level after already paying for all of the boosts. I play this game, friends and soda and regularly reach the āend of the roadā if that tells you anything and they have made it impossible to pass levels without spending a bunch of money. SO GREEDY. I AM DONE UNLESS YOU FIX THIS.
I agree whole heartedly. This is ridiculous. I am on level 12211 and there are many levels that are impossible to pass with the amount of moves they give you. Even with all of the boosts Iāve needed 20-30 extra moves to pass a level more times than I care to admit.
Why were extra moves removed after failing a level X amount of times, usually the extra moves would go up after youāve failed a level so many times. Now itās just 5 moves every time.

You canāt even come close to passing most of the high levels in the number of moves you start with, so 5 extra makes no difference anyway.
I too used to keep trudging away until I was up to 35 and with a lucky board I was happy to pay.
No point in either playing or paying unless this is restored.
Well done King. Between this and the ālives from friendsā debacle, you are sucking all the joy out of your own game.
I lost the extra lives at the end of the game & got frustrated and reset the app and then I lost boosters and lives sent by friends and I had quite a few. I reached the end of the game every week & would occasionally buy lives and boosters but now Iām fed up. Unless things come back Iām done and Iāve been playing for about nine years.
This is greedy and stupid beyond belief. Who in their right mind will keep buying and spending gold on only 5 extra moves? Many level are impossible without more than 5 extra moves š¤·āāļø
For the first time ever, I purchased gold bars to keep me going when the extra moves reached 20+.
I won't be buying again until this latest decision has been reversed.

Me too. And this morning when I start the game only my name is there. My other players were there with pink hearts to send livesā¦gone! The fun part is gone. If Iām going to work this hard they should be paying me!!
I have contacted support but none of my king games work any more. Connection error and the password into Facebook is not correct when i don't get the 1st error .Anyone else having this issue? I went up to level 483 and reinstalled it after deleting it. Now it won't come back with my account. Please help me get back to the same level I was before.
I get the ads and are used to them, no issues. What has kept me off the game currently is that the ads have become rather stealthy. Do I press the hard to find x? When i do, a screen comes up where its confusing on how to get back to your game. Some ads force you to websites but then you can't get back to the game. I hitā¦
last night and again today ā¦ for the last 3 levels, my game has frozenā¦ knocking me out of the races, losing me gold bars and not even acknowledging it has happened.
