What happened to the extra moves when you click on give up?
Have been able to get them up until game 6203 and with only 23 moves this level definitely needs xtra moves

I wish I knew Carol. Of all the changes made by King this is the one that really makes no sense at all to me. The only result that I can see for this test is loads of complaints from frustrated players.
If King are reducing the amount of lives and not giving extra moves what is the point of playing.
That is something I have said already Carol the double whammy of reduced lives and now no extra moves will surely see players leaving en masse.
I can't imagine that even those who can afford to pay or others who struggle to pay would be happy with this.
That is my guess as to what this test is all about. The only thing that King can be testing by removing the extra moves is to see how many buy moves, or how many stop playing. Nothing else makes sense.
Alternatively this could be their answer to the life limit. The change to the life limit has seriously upset people that buy things for their games and I don't think King saw this coming. I think that by removing or changing the frequency of the extra moves and giving people back the ability to send and receive lives they hope to get those people buying again.

Hi Foxy seeing as last time this happened to you the issue fixed itself all I can suggest is that you stop playing other than to collect the Booster Wheel booster and check that the extra moves feature is back in your game. Obviously you will have to play a level once to check for the extra moves, but I would suggest just play the once and save your boosters & lives until the feature is working again.
I have been tracking what people are saying with regards to fixed vs not fixed.
Android - "seems" to be fixed.
Facebook - mixed bag. Seen people say yes and no and even yes then no.
Idevice - not fixed (or Apple has a patch schedule that is fixed like Microsoft).
Win 10 - not fixed (or is but Microsoft has not uploaded the patch yet, ie patch Tuesday).
It would be nice if King said which devices they have officially patched even if it is a situation where the fix is done but they are waiting on verification or whatever from Microsoft for example.
Yes! Although they give me more ads to watch for boosters, some extra hard levels need more than boosters to pass. They just want you to use more gold bars. What a turn off! I am prob just playing for missions now. Not gonna get stuck in the same level or pay money/ gold bars.

Iām right at that point of deleting this supposed game. It was fun while it lasted but if I the Guinea pig or test case. They should be paying me! I donāt like this anymore.
Not spent a penny since this happened. Only spend on this and PoGo. At the point that I canāt pass a level without paying Iāll just delete the game. I donāt spend a fortune but I did pay to play, so income lost King :(

I refuse to buy anything until those extra moves come back. It takes over 60 tries to beat an āeasyā level and Iām in over the 12000 levels. Five extra moves is not enough.

AND..... Just thought of this ridiculous addition-- we ALREADY were giving them money to BUY the extra gold bars in the first place. So it's just plain idiotic!!!

I like that idea!! We should NOT spend another penny on this game until the extra moves are back. My extra moves are not back either and this is getting real old!
Still a problem for me and others I guess. So here's what I am thinking. I do have to admit that in the past couple of days I did buy 10 gold bars to try to end a level and it didn't work. I hated myself for acquiescing and giving King money. I guess I'm really addicted to this stupid game. However, I'm not going to do it again, no matter how tempting!! I hope... Maybe others have fallen for that too? My suggestion-- let's band together and no matter how hard and frustrating, let's not give King another penny! SOLIDARITY!! Maybe that will convince them that they need to fix this "glitch" or stop this "test" or whatever it is. Money talks.... Sheesh.

Well - I keep returning to my game based on āitās backā posts but mine most definitely is not. At the Super Hard 12145 level I am apparently not skillful enough to pass with only 5 extra moves. Has anyone found another game we might like? Iāve been stuck for days. Iād like to find something else - preferably not King related.
It seems to be back/fixed! I've been stuck on a level since this all began. Refused to spend more to complete it, out of principal.
Just played now and I'm seeing moves added.
Honestly I am likely to spend more when it feels more fair. That's all there is to it š

No you are not the only one that this is happening too. I have posted this question several times and no one seems to answer it. I do the same as you buy extra gold bars to complete a level once the moves count goes up and will not be doing that any more as long as it stays to 5, where the maximum points added to the original is 30. There is a little pink mark at the end of each game and when you click it, its says to get extra boosters for gold bars I have tried clicking on that as well, but I do not get any extra points. As I stated before, no one seems to be able to answer it or wont answer it.

Well @Alienscar something's not right. As I said I hadn't counted the last level but now on 12181 a Nightmarishly Hard Level (and believe me it should be called Impossibly Hard). It used to be that after approx 9 to 10 tries the extra moves start appearing. Have played this 32 times so far, mega boring, not getting anywhere near, putting it away now.

I will try 12181 again later and keep counting to see if/when the extra moves start appearing. If this really is the way forward I can see a lot more giving up.

I too have been spending days and will not be able to win unless I buy Vextra lives I refuse to do so until they get this fixed. Why should I give 10 gold bars to get the original 5 turns when prior to this screw up, you could get up to 30 points plus the 5 turns u originally received. By the way, there is a pink circle at the end of a game if you click the circle a pop up comes up and says adds more moves to your game = u can click all you want and u do not get extra moves
Iām not getting the extra moves, Iāve been stuck on level 12211, I was able to get upto 35 extra moves (eventually) with 10gold bars now I can only get 5
Maybe we'll just stop playing the King Candy Crush games totally. Candy Crush Soda doesn't work either!
I am so glad I'm not the only one saying all the same things! While it's true that I hated buying extra gold bars, I felt like it was not a HUGE deal and these days I am worth it! But I most certainly will not use gold bars for only 5 extra moves-- I usually waited until I had accumulated the full 35 extra moves! This has been especially annoying since most levels only have around 20 moves in the first place! Now I am not going to buy more gold bars, and if these extra moves don't come back, it's "see ya later, alligator." So I will be done. They will most certainly be losing a good bit of income, from several people,I should think. Thanks everyone for sharing my thoughts and posting them!
I am having the same issue. If they stop drastically reducing the number of moves on all levels we could probably get by with the 5 extra moves, but very unlikely with these changes š
I noticed this problem this morning. I'm on the level 12184 now and I have bought the extra movement pretty often when it is accumulated up to 30 ~35. Recently, the first movement is around 20, so the extra movement has been very helpful.
I won't be able to make it without the extra movement any more and will have to leave Candy Crush finally. So sad.
I'll be uninstalling soon if this is permanent. The levels have been designed to force you to need these extra moves and, while 5 is sometimes enough, it's too risky to spend gold on just 5.
UPDATE: I emailed to the support team and the answer I got was this:
"I'm sorry to hear you are not getting more than 5 extra moves on your Candy Crush Saga game,Ā but rest assured it is expected for this feature to change and even become temporarily unavailable,Ā so thereās nothing to worry about. Please note that these are bonus features in the game and therefore not designed to be there permanently. To help keep things fresh and interesting, our studio tweaks and introduces new features every so often. As such, they need to thoroughly check these during gameplay, so these special features may appear or disappear during ongoing tests, as well as during scheduled maintenance checks."
So I guess they really don't care all that much.... Bye Bye...
If you want to test limiting extra turns:
Make it five turns for one gold or ten turns for two gold.
Five turns for ten gold... hahaha... just wow. I hope it is a bug.

If this was not going to stay, they should never had started it and stop making the games where u get less turns with more plays to win a game- having to be on a game for over 3 days and cant beat it there is a problem w kings way of thinking
