Can't log in Candy Crush App on Windows 11 with Facebook account

I'm trying to log in the Windows 11 app version of CCS but I keep getting the "Login error: There is an error in logging you into this application. Please try again later" message. I've tried reinstalling it but unfortunately got the same message. Does anyone have any ideas how this can get resolved?

Thank you!

Hello the @TheLastAvenger you are the second person to post about this issue so I can't help thinking the issue must be something to do with Microsoft or your device. If there were an issue with Candy Crush Windows login, I would expect more than two complaints.

You have already tried the most logical step of reinstalling your app and as that has worked, I am not sure what else to suggest. Try deleting all of your browsing history and cookies and then restart your device before trying to login again.

Thanks for your reply @Alienscar. I've cleared all the data for the Candy Crush app and then restarted the PC but still unfortunately no luck. Not sure if it was caused by some sort of update on PC or something else.

Hi @TheLastAvenger it is worth deleting your browser history and cookies as well as just clearing the app data. All kinds of dead links can be stored in your history and cookies.

Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted the browser history and cookies as well as the app data but unfortunately the issue persists 😞

Have you tried updating the Microsoft Store @TheLastAvenger?

Select Start, then from the apps list, select Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store, select Library Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.

Here is something that might help @TheLastAvenger. It is a bit complicated but it will determine if your issue is being caused by a thirdy party bit of software.

Just tried logging into the app in another Windows machine and I'm still getting the same error so it's probably nothing to do with third party software. 😕

@TheLastAvenger Yesterday it happen to me in Win 10 that run on a Laptop, it was after I logout from app and try to Login back. I was able to play just using the King and not the Facebook. I did a mistake and I logout on the PC where is my wife account and there happened the same. In my opinion is something in the CCS new version it was updated day before. I think that every one with Microsoft app if will Logout willl have the same problem.

I can add yet another one to this, as my app stopped working yesterday too. I'm on Win 11 but that doesn't seem to be the problem as it seems to be the same problem on some Win 10 installations too.

I've gone thru all the usual stuff:

    • Clearing browser cache/cookies/history (Chrome, Firefox and Edge).
    • Uninstalling and reinstalling Candy Crush app (also clear register and leftover files)
    • Updated browsers (especially Edge, as I assume it's the one the app is using)

The picture should be pretty familiar, but I'll clarify what it says to be sure:

    1. The web broswer is not supported. You're using a web brosser that's not supported by Facebook. We have redirected you to a simpler version to give you the best experience.
    2. Error. Error at login. It was impossible to login to the application. Try again later.

@TheLastAvenger @Murvelkott @Tzvi_Marcu Do any of you use ad blockers? If you do try turning them off and see if that helps. This looks like it is a Facebook issue to me.

Also try disabling all your browser extensions if you use any.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
