Love this. I don't like playing against those that use the "name " player...seems like says especially when they win 900 levels in less than a week.

I enjoy playing against those with nick names and some sort of real picture...

I don't understand what it's all about, everyone already has a name, why change it. That's just confusing, change your name and I won't know who you are. Shame King are using so much time on things like this, rather than concentrating on all the things players keep giving feedback/asking about. Like the awful new Saga Map, when is that going to be sorted. Impossible levels and unworkable features that give or rather don't give us gold bars.

I've had this functionality for a few weeks, if not months. Probably that explains the original date of your post.

I'll be honest - I've never, ever used it; it's totally useless to me. Why? Because players with a King account already have the ability to easily change their name in-game at any time via account settings.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but Candy Crush Soda Saga for example no longer even supports Facebook login. Why bother with this in the first place? Waste of manpower.

May I suggest that instead of such limited use feature you add something that's been long since requested and would be useful to every single player - a "Go to" feature for easy navigation, especially if you decide to go ahead with the terrible new map.
