i was excited to update my candy crush for the new holiday events. but terribly disappointed with the actual update :(
i have avoided saying this before, as it is just a personal aesthetic issue, but i find the candy crush character designs terribly ugly. the more i have to look at the characters, the less i enjoy the game.
i previously mentioned the character appearing over top the victory screen that i did not like.
now the character is constantly in the upper right, on the level screen. actually, i could almost ignore that there while playing, except it is animated. i'm neurodivergent, and animated things in the periphery of my vision bother me a lot.
along with the new sound design changed to all bubbly sound-effects (as mentioned in another thread), my enjoyment of the game has diminished to where i think i will just switch to playing soda saga as my main candy crush game.
i'm sure the design team will take all factors into consideration for future design edits. good luck with your game!
