⭕ Why can't I play in landscape mode anymore? Game too small!

My main desktop PC fell victim to this intrusive redesign this morning. Interestingly, laptop still displays the normal "landscape" appearance.

@QueenB Maybe words aren't getting the point across. This is what the game looks like on the Win10 app:

The game is completely cramped now. This design may be suitable for a narrow phone screen, but it's completely ridiculous on a PC monitor that has bigger display dimensions.

Is the studio team on crack? How do they not realize that what's fine for one device is not fine for another.

Agree with all the comments on here, absolutely horrible change, it's like playing on a third of my screen on pc. Please add the option to revert back to landscape mode. It's not like you have to develop something new.

Candy Crush is the biggest game of all King games! From the counts I have seen when we had special contests for level 5000 release, I found out that there are millions of players out there who are addicted to Candy Crush🤩🤩

So, being the biggest and most favorite game of all, I don't think the Studios do not bother about their players!! And they did mention many times, that they are here - because of the players!!

I think they are trying to give a best game there is, but somehow, it is not turning to be a favorite move for us - the players!! 🤔🤔

I've seen others complaining about new game size. I would usually recommend use microsoft but just now they too have reduced game size. Believe it is still better than facebook is offering. Damn dimwits can't leave well enough alone. New & improved I disagree. Put it back way it was please. Course we know they don't care how we feel usually. Thus I won't hold my breath. SAD !😥

What have you done to the game? Are you intentionally trying to get rid of players?

Hopefully you restore the landscape mode/full screen version soon, until then it's time to find something else to waste my time playing.

Hi and Welcome to the King Community

Recently a changed was made in the game to only let players play in Portrait mode (this is how the game would look like when playing on a phone). This change is also effective on Windows. Currently there’s no plans on changing this back, but please leave your feedback on the change in this discussion.
