⭕ Why can't I play in landscape mode anymore? Game too small!

Please bring back landscape mode!!!!

We wanted to address the changes made so that you can understand the rationale behind it.
We have made the decision to remove landscape mode based on a lot of thinking, analysis and user testing and feedback. You might not have been asked but we have reached out to players and ask for feedback.
This change will allow for a lot of game improvements and we have a lot of great ideas that have been limited by the old map and design until now.
The same applies to the new Saga map. By simplifying the layout of the game to only be in Portrait mode, we can deliver new things a lot faster and introduce more great things in the game.
We understand that we have a lot of loyal players and after so many years with the same look, you might not be open to changes, but we promise, we are not doing this to upset you, but it is simply time to change and improve the game.
We understand that for some, the game might be too small and this is a feedback we have already shared with the team and it is being investigated how we can improve the size.
Thank you for sharing your feedback - we always want to make our players happy. We believe that this change will lead to a sweeter experience 🤩

Now I know this is forever, thats me finished, an iPad on a magic keyboard cannot be used in portrait mode.

I wish King would leave a good thing alone. They've ruined so many aspects of this game. The Chocolate Box is annoying rather than a fun bonus. The constant pop-ups that eat up your time. They seem to think that they're going to encourage players to play more, but the sad reality is...they play less.

We should have the choice to use landscape or portrait mode. I will definitely be playing less due to no access to landscape mode on my tablet. Not a good idea whatsoever to stop landscape mode orientation.

Programming for all screen sizes and orientations is known as responsive design. Programming for one orientation is unresponsive design. Guess which one is best.

Maybe they will soon let us pinch and zoom the screen for the full ten years ago experience. 😫

hey you guys I just downloaded it from the microsoft store its in landscape mode!!! You can play the app while waiting for our other one to change back!!!
