Thank you for this advice, Diamond_Lim, however, after doing this, it still doesn't have this new challenge. Just the original game. It is updated. Should I delete the app and reinstall? I don't have any power ups or gold bars to lose, so not worried about that. I just do not want to lose progress,or friends I made ALL through the app, ONLY. I don't use Facebook for friends. Think this would help? I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks to anyone who can help.

If you have still nothing boosters and gold bars left while you have still connected your Facebook/Kingdom Account on this game, I think you can trying uninstalling and reinstalling this game. Then you reconnected your Facebook/Kingdom Account before you start playing this game first, then you can start playing this game while your progress and gold bars can be still saved and transferred but inventory lives and boosters will be lost (Not sure Friends are still appeared or not). So after trying these steps, I am not sure the new features/events will be released or not. I think it's that one following step only to release the new features/events or not. 🤔

I love it not to compete with others that sometimes uses bot but with onesself in reaching the higher tier for better boosters.
I am qualified for the finals but failed to have a screen shot.

Do not reinstall, mistress! Not before you've made sure your progress has been saved. If you're logged in with a Facebook account, check the browser version to see if your levels are there. Friends are also saved on the game server, so don't worry about them.
If you have a King account that is not linked to a Facebook account, then use another device to log in and check your progress.
If everything looks fine and you have no boosters or lives to lose, you can then proceed and reinstall the game on your device. Chances are this won't help though.
You should try another device. For example, use your sister's tablet. Make sure her progress is saved first though! I know you can't both play on the same device at the same time, i.e. you'd need to wait for each other to take turns, but just to try and see if it's a device issue, not account issue.
Last but not least, bear in mind the event is available to "selected players". This means there are people who will just not receive it.

Thank you, Diamond_Lim! I only have King accounts, not linked to Facebook. I definitely don't want to lose my CCS friends, so, I think I'll wait and see if it's my tablet first, because I rarely get any special events. I haven't linked my game and forum accounts, either, I'm going to see if I can do that, too. Also, I love this game! And this community. It's the best! Thank you. ❤️
