Why does the app keep refreshing when I leave, forcing me to repeat a level?

I left the app before it was done congratulating me on beating a level and went back to it and lost that win. Now it has forced me to restart again without my boosters. So I left to get support and went back and it refreshed AGAIN. This is also taking my lives away when it does this. I am also not even closing the app when do this. I am just switching apps and then switching back. So there's no reason for it to refresh at all.
