Why am I not getting exta lives?

I ask my 'friends' for extra lives a whole scrollful of them. Many times throughout the day. Maybe get a couple here and there. But I get a TON of requests from other folks. I can't even barely play the extra 20 lives that I'm allotted in one part of the day.
