Why the game suddenly became in Russian. This is the language of terrorists. I hate the Russian language. She kills many people in Ukraine, and I am from Ukraine. Remove it immediately

Surely this issue must be related to settings on your device?

If you are playing in Ukraine I assume the change must be related to the Russian occupiers changing the official language of the region you live in. That is pretty awful, I agree, but you ought to able to change the region on your device. I play on iPad and I can change region in settings. You could go for an English language region if you cannot get Ukraine language. Is Candy Crush really the only app that has suddenly changed to Russian?

Thank you very much for your reply! Even yesterday, while playing the web version of the game on Facebook, there was an English version, and today it is Russian. I replaced my Facebook settings and everything was fine. There are no problems with the mobile application. Thanks for your reply and support!

Yes, only Candy Crush Saga changed the language, all other games and programs remained unchanged. I think that this is rather a problem with Facebook.

I am really sorry to hear this. Unfortunately I have no experience with Facebook so cannot help you with this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello @YurgordπŸ€— Hearty Welcome to our lovely King Community!

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with your game!

I was looking at the "Issues" list we usually experience in the game! I did not find anything about changing language but, found something that might be linked --> Profile showing wrong country!

I tried to check in my game, but I am not able to see that option anywhere (it used to), unless I am missing somethingπŸ€” Would you like to try and see if you can find the country that is listed in your profile?

Hi @christinewupp , may be you can try too, please?

I will seek my team's help in the mean time and get back to youπŸ‘οΈ

Thank you very much for your help @christinewupp PummyRaj. The problem was not in the game, but in the regional settings of Facebook.

Is it all set now or do you still need help?

If you are still looking for assistance, I will ask if any of my friends knows about this glitch!

I do have Facebook, but only to save my games’ progress πŸ˜…

Hi @Yurgord - I am sorry you had this issue and I am glad you were able to figure it out.

I had an issue where everything was in Swedish all of a sudden -in my case it was something with my iPhone (which I use to play Candy Crush Saga). Just in case you do too - here are some helpful tips:

    Under general -

Check language & region - I found that somehow Swedish had been added as a language (since you can have more than one) and in fact was listed as the preferred language. So I deleted it and it was ok for a bit then it happened again.

This time Under General: I checked "Keyboard" and sure enough the Swedish keyboard was listed as an option (I have no idea why). Anyway, once I deleted that keyboard - then I didn't have the issue again.

Anyway - I am glad you have found the community and that you were able to correct the problem. I hope you stay and explore our friendly community. I visited here over 4 years ago and I am still enjoying my time here.

Happy Crushing and I am praying for you, your people and your country!
