The Candy Converter appeared in my event tab few days ago. I tried to convert 2 coconut wheels for 5 gold bars. I went back to claim the gold bars after 30 minutes but the Candy Converter had disappeared along with the 2 coconut wheels. The event just came and gone within a few hours.
@Carol-38 In my first converter box, used 2 Coconut Wheels for 5 gold. Quite the deal as I'm sitting on 1200+ of those darned, worthless things! I think King probably wants us to like it.
2nd converter box yesterday, they want a UFO for 10 minutes of coconut wheels! What a joke, are they crazy?!?! LOL I did a triple take when I saw that. I looked at it again this morning. Not me that's seeing things! Did spend 5 lives for 6 1/2 hours of cake bombs, however. That was pretty cool even though had to wait 11 hours before collecting. It was ready to go this morning.
Have a good day!
Thanks Rhonda I wouldn't mind getting it to try especially for 5 gold in replace of 2 coconut wheels. Can't see me getting it soon though all I ever seem to be in the test group for is the new Saga map, that I don't like and the Chocolate Box that only gives timed boosters. I've got a Rhonda in my friends list, have you got a Carol?
You're welcome! I'm the Rhonda with my cat's picture. Only say that because this week on the weekly race I have a Rhonda which is freaking me out! Wish they'd only put ppl on friends list to play against. Instead, I have to compete with ppl on much, much lower levels. Grrrr...🙁
Have a great one!
Hey @Carol-38, I discovered I miss out on tons of freebies where I mainly play (PC), which doesn't have the converter. However, I recently added CCS to mobile, where I do have it, plus things like Air Delivery, ability to watch ads for boosts when I lose a level, Weekly Contest, Season Pass, etc.
So, it seems some features are "device"-dependent.
Hi @Deryck I only play on a mobile and I have everything else you mentioned even the horrible new Saga map. With regard the Candy Converter it appears this is still in the early test stage and only available to a group of players. Maybe once they've received feedback from the test group on what works and what doesn't they might feed it slowly to other players. Mind you I'm still waiting for the F5 replacement, haha, so we'll see what happens with the Converter.
