Those of you at the top of the game @Scooterpie @MonicaYellow @cookiemae I think they have made your new levels harder than mine... I played the new releases for mobile yesterday, all 45 of them, and I noted that some of my levels are identical to LAST week's android releases (thanks Monica for posting that one), so my level 14775 for example is your level 14786. Checking on YouTube my new levels are all completely different from everyone else's (I mean different boards completely) except for those labelled as hard or worse with the skulls, they are the same. Comparing levels with YouTube I do also feel mine are easier generally. I wonder if they have given different levels to players who are no longer in the Summer cup competition. Or maybe it's just me and they have put me into a sort of test group. I wish I knew what was going on...

I do not know exactly what goes on. I just play the levels as I get them, do not worry about what may have happened with the number of moves, just what I have to deal with. I do not get all of the features that you all talk about. In fact I get different features on my different versions. Work 'em together, look for advantages. Better than having more than one account.
The game is what it is. Back before the Win10/11 version came out I found that cetain levels were easier on the computer and certain levels were easier on the mobile (still true). If I could not pass a level on one then I tried the other. In the beginning I was basically a mobile game player of CCS.
My understanding is that games which have the opportunity to obtain free boosters have glitches. I try to (not always possible) accept the bad glitches and work them good ones. Just try to have fun with the game, the love to hate thing is real...

I think Val is a clever kitty. I have changed my tactics to copy her strategy. I think this game is supposed to be played using boosters. Trying to save them up for later just doesn't work for me. I am now changing tactics to try to get to the easy levels before the event starts, no matter at what cost, and like you using starting boosters for the hard levels and trying to keep my win streak that way. I seem to definitely be getting easier boards with this strategy and pass through the levels more quickly. The added benefit is that it makes the game enjoyable as opposed to frustrating.
