How does everyone feel about the effects on the new updated effect’s combining the candies, I feel that has badly any effect on crushing candies before it had more effects not happy with the resulta is not satisfying:(! Is powerless! ( two candy wraps or a wrap and the striped candy 🍭 🍬

I believe the apparent difference is only in the graphics. The problem is that with the striped and wrapped candy combo the effect is so instantaneous now that it cannot be seen and followed with the eyes on screen. I have taken some screenshots of before, during and after the explosion and the damage done to the board is the same as it was before. You just can't see it. And that is a bad change that needs to be rectified.
Here are some more screenshots with evidence that as before a whole three lines vertical and horizontal get wiped out.

This combo now only clears candies up and down the board and not across as well like it used to do, why?
Also just discovered that if it’s a level where you need the combo to go up and down it will clear across the way instead and likewise if you need the combo to clear across it clears up and down! Very frustrating!!

Hi @ShirlM This is actually not the case. What has changed is the graphics. The effect is now instantaneous in both directions as opposed to first across and then down. This cannot be followed with your eyes now, so it gives the impression you are not getting the old effect. I have investigated this in my game and taken some screenshots to illustrate. If you follow the images you will see that both the three rows of candies across and down were cleared.

Well it wasn’t so for me. The board below didn’t change for me when I combined the candy horizontally. It seems I’m not the only one too

Btw I'm not a newbie to this game played back in 2010.I've noticed on level 205 that the strip and the candy bags doesn't take the whole column out like it use to now it just explodes. In that area and it's much harder to win levels that are way harder to beat. I think they should of stayed the way they were. these combos are better the old way. No one is going to finish a hard level like this plus how are we suppose to take down chocolates and the black tiles if there aren't on the board on level 205. And we run out of time right away so unfair.
