Are you playing on Facebook - through Browser (Chrome / Edge, etc.,) or the App version through Microsoft store?

Sometimes, the browsers could be the cause of the issue!! Did you try opening the game on Google Chrome?
Or on Edge with a "Guest" window? If you do not know how, try this... at the top right corner of your Edge browser, you will see 3 small dots -- click on them and you will see a drop down menu -- from that, select "New InPrivate Window", and click on it -- then, log into your Facebook account and open Candy Crush Saga.
If you are able to play the game either on these 2 browsers, it means the issue is with the Browser.
