Win Streak Reinstatement After Loss.

We have all seen posts from Admin/King on here that tell us that our Win Streaks can't be reinstated if we lose them for any reason. As many of you are aware there are more than a couple of reasons that cause people to lose their Win Streaks and a lot of them are the fault of King. Oops levels, missing Gummi Dragon and adverts crashing the game are just a few examples I can think of.
I have always believed our admin/King when they have told us that a lost Win Streak can't be reinstated until now.
I haven't been playing CCS for awhile, but I received a notication asking me to claim my rewards, so I opened my game to see what the rewards were.
As you can see King has provided me with a Win Streak of 4. The fact that they have done this without me contacting them indicates that restoring a player's Win Streak must be quite a simple process. If nothing else it shows that people that have lost their Win Streak through no fault of their own can at least have a minimal Win Streak provided to them.

By the time King responds to a notification of loss of win streak through no fault of the player, other than playing this game, we would have regained win streak 5?
I have chosen to carry on playing and not bothered to report to them officially, might make some noise here about the loss though.

Agreed @MonicaYellow but some people take pride from having a large Win Streak. Though it makes no practical difference after completing five levels it would appear that people could actually have their old Win Streak reinstated.
The length of time it takes Player Support to respond is a whole other thread

I might give it a test out. I lost my win streak on the very last new level on the new releases (14870), which has a glitch that causes an eternal loop, so I had to close it. I haven't got any more levels to play for 6 days, so I might send my screenshot to customer support and see what happens.

Nope! But somehow I managed to pass second time. I'm not sure what the trick is though!

No, it didn't work. Their free gift isn't much use either, but I might try my luck with the Star Tournament maybe. I guess I could chase it up, but can't be bothered...

Interesting @christinewupp because based on my game they clearly can reinstate a Win Streak. Instead of asking for the return of your Win Streak I wonder if it would be better to just ask for a Win Streak to be provided. Saying that I think what you have been given is better.
