Last weekend en a few days before there was a machine in the game that used to multiply the goldbars you spend in the game. If you spend 10 bars you would receive 100 bars. I spend 38 bars but i dit not receive the hunderd goldbars like promised.

The screen shots are from all stats features and there are no rewards given from those.
No, it's the other way round! They don't multiply your gold in CandyCrush Saga, that would be too nice!!!. The gold machine as you call it is a discount mechanism. I am pretty sure your version meant that you had to spend 100 gold bars to get back 10. It's to encourage players who have lots of gold to spend some of it on buying boosters. You are not the first person to have got this mixed up though. Still, you didn't lose anything if you spent the gold on boosters, so no harm done.
