No, they don't seem much different so far. There was a rough patch when I was approaching 10,000, and it felt like they wanted me to start spending my gold to reach the big milestone. After 10,000 levels became normal again, more or less.
When I came to this forum in 2022, everyone was complaining about the 12,000 range. I am curious to find out what they are like now. If they are manageable, then I guess they are making the last 2,000 levels ridiculously hard at any given time, in order to make money from players trying to reach the top.
In fact I have found the levels generally less boring than those leading up to 15,000. There are some frog levels and a few quite clever strategic ones.
Good to know 🙂
This is how far I will get this time round, unless some miracle happens, as I've hardly any gold left now:
The "play levels again and again until you can pay your way out" strategy is not for me. I don't have the patience for that and don't see the point to just buy 100 extra moves with 10 gold bars.
I rushed through all 45 new levels to make the most of my timed boosters and just to get it over and done with. It feels more like a chore than a game. I didn't even make it to the party poppers of Top That even though I got pushed up several tiers all at once a few days ago. No way can I use the Star Tournament to get nine thousand blue candies, passing those impossible levels? Even when I had the glitch that gave me blue candies for failed star tournament levels I only made about 100 blue per level. It's the only event I have as well. No Season Pass, no nothing. Not fun.
