cannot collect rewards been like this for several hours. Have restarted multiple times.

Thank you for providing the screenshot of the feature you are experiencing the "connection issue" error and providing more details.
And, yes! You are right, the glitch is not on your side or on your device! It is the game. Some players were experiencing this glitch with Chocolate Box feature. But, it was supposed to be cleared by now!
Can you please follow these steps --> Clear Cache -- Check if there are any updates in the App Store/Google Play Store -- If you do see one, please install them -- shutdown your device for few minutes and turn it back on -- open the game and check if everything is OK with Chocolate Box.

it. I’ve done everything recommended. If it was a connection issue wouldn’t I not be able to collect other prizes? Because I can. It’s not even the prizes I could care less but this thing pops up every other minute. Every time I complete a level. 😩😩😩
If it says there's a connection issue then there is a connection issue. This doesn't mean it's at your end. It's probably at King's end. In which case you can't do anything until they fix it. If you can't play Candy Crush enjoy life doing something else until they fix it.

Is there a moderator on the forum anymore? This glitch just started today, the new levels that were just added are not syncing across my devices. All are up to date. It's also been saying occasionally about no connection, but closing out the game and restarting seems to take care of that. The real issue is the syncing…
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
Is anyone else’s games freezing and then crashing? The last few days my games are consistently freezing and crashing. Costing me gold bars and boosters.
