hi let’s say I made it into the live final but I live in the United Kingdom i would need time to get my visa and there isn’t enough time to get one from the end of April till June?
@PummyRaj I think @christinewupp asked her questions on or about April 14 did you find the answer yet?
I understand. I have found there's a real lack of communication with the mods since the Allstars started. Hopefully the question will be answered correctly soon. It is odd that they included Brazil. They are not one of the countries that are on the visa waver list.
You may well be correct @cookiemae but to be fair, @PummyRaj has promised to look into this and check with the CM, so we should wait for the promised answer. I asked the question on behalf of all the players in Brazil here:
@christinewupp King will not wait for you to obtain a visa or passport. The finals will be held in June. If you are invited to play in the finals you will need to already have your documents. If they were to wait for you to get your documents in order it could take 3weeks or more for you to get the documents depending on your country therefore the finals would not be in June as stated in the information coming from King. If you do receive an invite you must be ready to travel in June and present those documents on the zoom call. If not it's on to the next person. There's no reason to delay the finals because you don't have the documents. Another thing is the actual location address would you want a bunch of unhappy players showing up at the location of the hotel if the address is provided to people that were not invited? It would be a nightmare for King look at all the unhappy people from last year imagine them having the address people are strange who knows who would show up. So basically your documents must be in order if you are actually invited if not they will not wait. T
That depends on your nationality, i.e. what passport you have. Obviously if you are British you won't need a visa. Anything else, check with the US embassy I guess regarding waiting times. At the moment we are awaiting a response from King about the visa situation, i.e. the question if King require you to have the visa already by the end of the tournament or if they will allow the winners to obtain the visa once they know they have actually won the last round. I heard from some Brazilians who were told a visa could be obtained in that time.
