This All Stars tournament is a lie, they make players spend hours playing, spending a lot of money, leaving us exhausted and stressed in search of a dream of competing for a spectacular prize. Don't believe them, King owns this game! I was harmed and so were other players. and they want to say that the problem is not theirs. I will seek my rights in court.
Snowballs chance in a blast furnace if that is your argument. The only way you could have a chance is if:
Basically you were in the 3rd knockout and winning and you close the app for a nap and the tournament was gone when you came back. While there is usually a solution to fix an event disappearing if it took you a few hours to get it back you would have a case. If a number of players had the same issue you would have a stronger case.
Basically it has to be a situation where something King does causes you to not be able to play that would be considered unreasonable. Even if the T&C technically covers it, court usually side with the plaintiff in those cases. Generally if you don't sign it, it doesn't really stand up well in court.
I didn't take a nap, I stayed awake until the end of the event. and I have a print screen that proves that I qualified for the second stage. and I have witnesses. I don't care who the court sides with. But I'll take it as long as I can. I have more players who are going through the same problem, we are in contact and we will join together in this legal action.
There was a mistake on their part, a problem on King's part. but they don't want to assume
You original post did not have that, so I was limited in context to an unhappy player.
Ya you both do have a solid argument on that one. All Stars vanished has been a reoccurring theme in the forums and while there is normally a simple fix by playing a few old then new levels, players cannot be expected to know that and trying to defend that lack of info by saying, there is a forum/help guide does not really cut it.
Obviously I cannot say 100% you have a case, hell or even 1% honestly but it does seem to fall into the correct category for a potential lawsuit.
As I say, from the past cases I have heard of, EULA and T&C are far from a rock solid defence when the company is 100% at fault.
