Cheating Event :: Purple candies not coming after crossing 9000 level all stars second final round

This is seriously unfair event team. All of sudden i am seeing purple candies not coming at all in all games after crossing 9000 level. I was #1 on the leader board till now in the second final knockdown and right before 3 hours of the second final knockdown closing time I am seeing no purple candies in all games which is making me to loose the round at the end. If this is what the game designed to have no purple candies then why to conduct an all start event to collect purple candies? After spending days and night to be on top of the leaderboard this was not at all i expected. This is totally an unfair all stars event then. Feeling really disheartened right now as i can see the person who is in second approaching quickly by closing the immense lead I was maintaining till now with him. I can send the photos of the immense lead too to show the unfairness this event is being conducted.
Adding few more this is absolutely cheating and unfairness.
Adding update as of 1:10 AM EST: Thank you All stars and King for moving me to 2nd position due to above unfairness of no purple candies in games.
Finally loss the second knockout in the last couple of hours of round ending time after being on top all the time. Such waste of effort, money and hardwork. What a complete rigged game. Well done King 👍 …

I know the pain. I scored 2 million points in finals round 1 and easily won the round. In finals round 2 I scored 2 million on the 1st day and was barely in the lead. I had to work, so I couldn't play that much over the last 2 days. Once I got into the 9000's, the purple's dried up really bad. I was actually using boosters to get through no-purple levels as quick as possible. VERY FRUSTRATING. The person who won the round in my group had 7.5 Million points and played 2200 rounds THIS WEEK. Thats insane. I never thought to complain to King about the non-purples - Can you elaborate on how many points they awarded you? I might give it another shot next year.

I experienced exactly the same and thing... I am honestly completely heartbroken! After all the time and money spent, to not have a chance of winning because there was level after level of no purples was soul destroying. The only fair way for this event to work would be to pick levels that everyone has to play the same as each other.
Literally pick 5-10k levels from the original game and everyone has to play the same. It's not fair otherwise. I even started writing down every level that had no purples until I ran out of paper.
Its seriously disheartened me how this event has been handled. And the amount of money all players have spent could easily mean that candy crush could hold at least one more tournament in the year.
Really upset. Played my heart out. Can't win if there's no purples to collect

I experienced the same thing!!!! I’m over level 10,100 and I passed every single round they had except the 2nd one of the final round!!! It’s impossible for people to get millions while I got a million. I played 12 hours straight on one of my rounds and I played the same amount of time and couldn’t even get to a quarter of what I got playing 12 hrs, it’s crazy!!!! I was so heart broken that I spent so much time and couldn’t even get the amount of points I got playing the other rounds in the same amount of time!!! And the second round had hardly no purple stars at all!!!

The event should be conducted in fair manner. It really don’t justify players playing in all sorts of different levels and expecting same level of difficulty and collection of candies. King should introduce new set of levels for each round of this event. so every starts at same level and compete. It is really impossible for a human to score 4 to 6+ millions in 24 hours and win the rounds when others in the group still sitting around a million or 2 in same playing time. This event needs a lot of improvements and fairness, otherwise there is no point in playing and spending hard earned money/effort and time.
