Why didn’t I get my 40 gold bars

I just won an episode race. I used several boosters to finish first since I had used up my gold bars. Looking forward to getting my 40. Then my internet stopped working and my cell signal wasn’t strong. They game froze. When things came back I was at the beginning but no gold bars. Help. This is frustrating
