The chocolate is not clearing/disappearing when I have cleared the chocolate. Making it impossible to pass the level. Started noticing problemson level today.

I have the sane problem, really irritating as I think I have chocolate left to destroy but I actually don't so my chocolate 'level' to destroy is false - can't get past level

This is a visual only glitch, so it will not stop you clearing any jelly underneath the fake chocolate, though of course it makes it very difficult to know where your jellies are hiding. As this one is a legendary level I should think it will take upteen extra moves or a party popper to beat either with or without the glitch. When it will be fixed we don't know but it will probably be announced in this thread over in Support, so keep an eye on that one:
Any progress made with the dark chocolate not clearing update/fix? It is very difficult to pass levels with jelly pieces underneath the dark chocolate because they cannot be seen. The colored-candy pieces are continuing to overlay the chocolate and they appear be not cleared.

I can't beat this level because the chocolate won't go away...it keeps it there with a candy on top!
Do you have the new events tab layout? I got the same thing after updating. I was able to use the color on top for combinations. Have you seen this @Alienscar @Carol-38 @christinewupp @Deryck
Updating @Kerrie ? I am still waiting for an update. My game on iOS is so glitched it's not true. It hangs up all the time, often in the midst of a level. But there is no update available in my app store for Candy Crush Saga, the latest was 21st July. That chocolate glitch I haven't had. But lots of pretty stills of my levels hanging up.
It's a good thing I haven't had any CandyRoyale showing up or I would have been furious of all these level stopping in the midst of a winning cascade.
Hi @Kerrie no I haven't seen that glitch yet, but I am not playing any new levels at the moment.
I did get it shown that I was getting the new Event's tab layout, but I haven't got it yet. I finished my levels on Sunday @Kerrie so can't say if that will happen when the new levels come out today. But I did have a go with the Star Tournament and yes it happened a lot while I was playing that 🙄
chocolate will not disappear after being hit and you and blocked from get jellies below. I keep destroying the level but have jellies I can not reach under that glitching chocolate. What do I do

I will check both 10458 and 12178 levels as well in my game and see if I too encounter this issue.

@QueenB there is something going on with dark chocolate, it is a glitch that the candies layered on top of them. This makes jelly hard to see.
Look at the blue vertical striped candy.

I have reported this level to our Community In-charge as I too am experiencing this glitch.
For me, the glitch was only with the Dark Chocolate! Milk Chocolate (the lighter one) was not giving any issue!
I would suggest you not to waste your Gold Bars and other resources to win this level, but wait till the fix comes in!
I have played level 12136 at least three times and the chocolate squares won’t go away. Is this supposed to happen on this level?

I have installed the latest version this morning and I did encounter the glitch when I tried this level. But the good thing is, the glitch did not stop me from winning the level!

If you did not win the level yet, do give it a try! But, do not waste your Gold Bars and/or boosters to remove the chocolate from the board.
