Level 1
in the spirit of the classic game show Let’s Make A Deal: players who earn gold bars during the gold tier contests: 8 levels, 10 levels, 12 levels etc. would benefit from earning gold bars in increments of 6 in tier 1 (8 levels). After each successful level players choose whether they want to continue earning or max out after their passed level. If players decide to keep playing they risk losing their earned gold bars, and they are not eligible to play gold tier for 2 hours. Players who successfully reach their tier earn the full allotment and continue earning immediately into the next tier without consequence. For example: successful completion of 8 levels earns 48 gold bars with immediate advancement to start earning toward the next tier: increments of 8 gold bars pass an additional 10 levels, risk only losing gold that is being earned in tier 2, keep max tier 1 gold bars 48. Most gold bars that can be earned after 18 successful levels passed: 128. If a player successfully completes tier 2, they keep their max tier 1 and 2 gold bars of 128, risk only losing gold that is being earned in tier 3, and the player can immediately advance to tier 3 in increments of 10 gold bars earned each level, for an additional 22 levels. Most gold bars that can be earned after 40 levels: 348
It is a nice idea @tmeezy but you seem to have missed the point of what the Candy Royale feature is all about.
The Candy Royale is designed as a contest between 100 players that are trying to earn a share of 500 (or more) gold bars by completing a set number of levels (7/8/9/16/21)
If you could opt out after 1 one level the contest no longer makes sense. It would be similar to a 100m runner saying I only want to see how fast I am over the first 30m.
Also it is important to remember that the Candy Royale isn't about rewarding the players the whole aim of the feature is to persuade players to care enough about winning the gold that they use real money in order to complete the levels.
Good luck with your idea.
I haven’t missed the point of the Candy Royale feature. I’m saying not every player is a sprinter. You got players out here running track when most of us have never ran a track in over half of our lives. Updating the Candy Royale where the player has choice and not putting them on a track makes the most sense. Players compete against other players in other ways: such as Champion Race, Weekly Contest; and other promotions where players qualify, complete semi-finals, and finals. When it comes to Candy Royals removing the competition and allowing players to earn gold bars for their own efforts and choices would enhance the game.
I’m saying not every player is a sprinter.
That is my point really @tmeezy when you start a Candy Royale you don't have a choice you have to be a 'sprinter' you can't decide not to be 'on the track' once the race has started. The race is to complete 8/10/12 levels not one level.
I actually think it has the makings of a good idea, but I really can't imagine King ever allowing players' to win gold for just completing one level.
allowing players to earn gold bars for their own efforts and choices would enhance the game.
That is the problem really tmeezy by 'enhance the game' you mean make it better for players, but King generally don't make changes to the game that make it better for their players and they definitely don't give away gold easily.
