If closing the App and rebooting your device is not doing the trick, I don’t think there is anything else you can do to get rid of that Chocolate Box!
Chocolate box is causing various glitches which are affecting multiple players. The Candy Crush team is aware about the issue and they are investigating it! Please check the recent update by our Community In-charge (please click on the date ⬇️ to open entire discussion about the glitch and take a look at other complaints).
And, definitely yes! I would strongly support you about not reinstalling the game! Some players have done it before, only to find out the that the glitch is back!! Did you try “off loading” the App and see if it helps?
