You are having a sticky glitch that needs to be reported to our Community In-charge. So that, they can advise on what to do for this glitch!
Can you please tell me which device you are using and the game version you have right now?
1st shot - complete level 17271 to start race. 2nd shot after 17271 completed - episode race now says complete 17272. race never starts. this began a couple of days before the last update

anyone else experiencing moving target to start episode race?
@Alienscar This is true. Every since I got to the end of the map over a year or more I have not had the episode event. I did ask @QueenB about it a year ago and was told it was a glitch. Support at that time gave me a different answer. They actually told me there's not enough players for me to have the race. 2 different answers.I actually stopped playing new levels thinking they would have more people at my level. It didn't help. Since late 2023 I get the flag but no race. I do play on Windows and I know we are treated different than mobile lots of events we do not get but that's ok. I really only want the episode race but so far it hasn't happened. What's funny is I email Support once a week with screenshots and they don't care. I'm kinda happy now that more people are not getting the race that maybe @QueenB will have this fixed now.one thing is if you contact Support as much as I have about the issue is that they will give you a few bars of hold. Lol
@QueenB Interesting I contacted you in October last year about my episode race. I haven't had it for over a year. At that time I ask you why the flag comes and go in my game. It's there and then go's away. You told me it was a glitch and no more was said so I have just moved on realizing there was nothing I could do. I have contacted players support numerous times in the last year and it's still not fixed. They have given me gold bars of course everytime I have contacted them. I hope this time since others have reported the issue you will have the studio fix mine as well. BTW my lost of the race started once I reached the last levels at the end of the map.
Thank you for your reply @QueenB . Indeed the episode race never started in that episode for me and then the flag has disappeared again at level 17266. The player ID for this game is not the one you have a record of but I am not bothered about this game so much as I find playing at this level range unenjoyable. However there is another player now who has the same problem, so here is their post:

If this is the case, you should still not see the flag on the map as Christine is seeing so it will get reported š«”

Nice try @Carol-38 Well done for getting points! My episode race flag is back, and the promise of the race if I pass the next level. But it's a false promise and nothing happens. Maybe the next episodeā¦..

Just yesterday I was on level 18600 and today im at level 1. I'm always logged in to my account so I can avoid losing my progress. But that doesn't seem to work either
Why Iām not have my gold after I finish all levels?
I never saw this in my game before on the gold pass.
I had already collected 5 stamps from previous days. Today, I completed a level that should have qualified for an additional stamp. However, instead of being counted as the 6th stamp and awarding the prize, it was counted as the first stamp. It appears that the progress was reset and started from the beginning. As aā¦
