I really liked being able to earn gold bars, but that features seems to be gone now.

We have some good news on the issue with Episode Race disappearing from your games and or not receiving your Gold Bars.
The team is working on getting it back as soon as possible and there is a fix that will be roll out to Android soon so please keep an eye out for any updates. Next week, we will release the fix to the other platforms.
This means that if you currently have game app version 1.290.0.1, you won't see Episode Race until you upgrade to version 1.290.1.2 which will be out next week to all platforms.
(If you are playing on Facebook, there is nothing you need to do, it will get updated in automatically next week).

No gold bars available after a level
Same…I won the race for 40 bars..taken the fun out of it..is it coming back?
Hi. My feature race has also disappeared. I should have earned 40 gold bars for finishing first after level 5285. i am currently on level 5291, but don't want to go any further until it's fixed. I have submitted a report to King, but also posting on here to follow this thread. Thanks.
My episode race has been gone for 2 sets of levels. Checkered flag is gone. Anyone else have any ideas how to fix the problem?

Yes! The Episode Race disappeared to many of us as well! Just like in your game, the glitch started sometime yesterday.
The issue was reported to the game team and they are investigating it. Please keep an eye on that thread for any and all the updates —> Episode Race is missing

Has the episode race disappeared for anyone else? It randomly went away for me yesterday after level 2300. I'm past the next episode now (currently on 2317) and it still hasn't come back. I was wondering if this happens periodically or if this is a glitch. I really need those gold bars, lol.

Thank you but is the forum not able to pass this on to King's tech people for a response? I am curious to know why they might remove it from 'some players'? Similarly, if the problem is their end, shouldn't someone be telling them so they can fix it? Thanks again.
Check your other devices. The race may be on already.
Update.
There is a new update for Windows CCS app today.
My app on a laptop was updated today and it's now without Episode Race.
My app on a desktop without the new update still has the Episode Race.

Thanks for checking in. Yes, we have flagged this issue to the developers, so they’re aware of it.
Sometimes these features can be temporarily disabled or impacted by updates, but we’re looking into it. I'll keep you all posted once I know more.

That is just how King manage each and every feature of the game @KeepTrying
The only feature that everyone has in their game is the Booster Wheel (and I am not 100 % sure about that) all of the other features are delivered to random groups of people and those groups can then be swapped with other groups that haven't had the feature previously. Sometimes people can have a feature for so long that they think it is a permanent feature of the game, but as I said at the start the only permanent feature is the Booster Wheel.
What all of this means is that King can remove a feature from your game because they have moved it to another group of players, or because they are testing something.
I can't say for sure, but because there are relatively few complaints about the issue it would seem more than likely that this is an error caused by King rather than them removing a feature,

Yes and no. The majority of people that respond to posts like yours are just ordinary members of the public that have no contact with King whatsoever.
The only person on this site that works for King is the Community Manager. As you can see our Manager has now reported the issue directly to King.
what happened to the episode race on my desk top? I can get it on mt phone and i-pad but it is gone on my desktop

Thanks, qukkc I do not know if the game was updated or not? I noticed my episode race disappeared halfway through a race it was there one game and then gone when I stared the next one. I do not think my game is through an app I log in through my King account. is that an app, I am not sure.

I played one old level just now and the Episode Race is back. Even my Facebook app also have it now.
Hi @danycouly No it isn't normal although over the years many of us have had our Episode/Champions Race go missing. There have been many other posts like yours recently and the problem has now been sent to King for them to check and see what is happening. If you click on the Support icon above, you will see a thread that says Episode Race missing. Keep checking that for any updates and hopefully it will be sorted soon 🤞

Since a couple of days ago, i had 94 (or 93) golden bars. All of the sudden, i realized just yesterday that i have left only 4 though i never used any of the 94 for any reason. Neither for extra moves or for any kind of purchase. Please check my account/profile and restore the amount of bars i should have. Thank you
