Why are levels impossible to complete?

Level 1

I have been stuck on many levels recently in the past two weeks, barely able to make any progress in the game. My game has been missing the ads for weeks so I can’t earn power ups and I have used all my boosters and gold bars trying to pass ~4 levels. I find this absolutely outrageous as I had over 500 gold bars and 30+ power ups. The only way to earn gold bars is to win races, which is impossible for me at the moment. The help feature that just defaulted a win after losing so many times is no longer available. It seems the only way I can pass levels recently is by spending my own money. Which doesn’t even help because the levels are so hard, no amount of boosters will clear the board in the 20 or less amount of moves that are available now. It’s absolutely ridiculous and this game has just become a ginormous money grab and neither fun nor relaxing. What is up with this??

    Hi and Welcome to the King Community

    Thanks for the feedback. Please email Player Support from the game's Settings and Help Center so they can check up what happened in your game.

    Hello @hanna2194 Please ignore the advice to contact Player Support with this as there is no point.

    What you are describing is the intentional way the game of Candy Crush is designed. To advise you further it would be of value to hear which level range you are playing at. I have found the following:

    Up to about level 2000 the game will allow players to win episode races and earn enough gold bars to play for free. Not everyone can do this but if you use boosters and gold wisely then you can earn more gold in the episode races than you spend on buying extra moves to pass the impossible levels.

    After about level 2000 King want players to start spending money so they introduce some levels and other ways to trick us into spending more gold than we can earn. One way to keep going without spending I have found is to play one episode per day.

    Once we get to within about 3000 levels of the end of Candy Crush they make this much more brutal. Anyone who has played for this long without spending real money is a waste for King, so they want us to start spending or they want us out of the game. They introduce lots of impossible levels full of blockers so that we spend up our gold and booster reserves. If we do spend even the tiniest amount of real money at all they will take away the ads as well, if we had them.

    I posted my take on what we can do in such a situation a while ago, so I link this here;
