Every time I open the app, the screen darkens with this blue overlay as if it's about to show me something, but nothing ever shows up. It won't let me X out of it or anything. Closing the app does nothing, and deleting then redownloading the app only lets me play one level before it goes back to that state. Why does this keep on happening and how do I fix it?

Sorry about that post from my royal colleague. But equally sorry I can't help you with this. You can only hope that King will fix the game, I really don't think it is anything to do with your device or your account. Just make sure you are on the latest upgrade of both your device and the game and if it persists there isn't anything you can do. Just delete the app and find one that works.

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game! Some players are experiencing this Grey screen for some odd reason!
King team is aware about this and are working on a fix! In the meantime, they are sending a work-around for the players to continue playing the game!
