@Nobody1 @Whippetman I was debating starting a new thread, but decided to chime in here.
The 'people' I'm playing against this week all have seemingly just started playing the game yesterday. They are all below level 50 whereas I'm at 16400. And the leader as of midnight this morning (CST US) has 44 levels won. The rest are close. I'm sorry, I don't do screenshots, but, REALLY??? WTH??? Needless to say, I won't bother playing new levels again this week. There's really no point as there's no payoff because I'm not wasting my boosters playing at least 3 episodes a day to try for the weekly race.
What King-Microsoft is doing to this game is unbelievable. Yes, they're suckering in newbies in to play and eventually buy. It's too bad they don't come to this community before they do so. It's sad. Candy Crush used to be a relaxing, stress-free game.
Well, that's my vent for the week! Good Luck Crushin' y'all!πΈ

Updated as this is getting more ridiculous literally by the day π.
So, these scores are after ONE DAY!
All players have only logged in for one or two days consecutively and have only had accounts for between one and two weeks.
At the current rate at least FOUR players will be scoring over 700 IN ONE WEEK πππ.
Whatever King are doing it is absolutely killing the game for people that have been playing for many years in some cases. What for? If it's short-term financial gain, they are beyond stupid.
I'm leaving it all now.Might check back in a while to see if the stupudity has diminished, if not, kicking the game into touch......it's become pointless, all within the space of three weeks! Clearly it was a New Year initiative of theirs, this is no fluke or coincidence whatsoever.
Not angry with it at all, just sad that the people behind this nonsense appear to be treating their 'loyal customers' with complete disdainπ
