Why can’t I make Swedish fish in game and why did my double candy explosion thing disappear?

For some reason, this morning I wasn’t able to make the little fish while playing by putting 4 candies in a square, and the double candy bomb that I got last night which is supposed to last for 24 hrs or until you lose a game disappear when I wasn’t out of time and didn’t lose a match. Is anyone else dealing with this?
