It will be a few days (at least tomorrow, and since I seem to not be included in All Stars, probably Friday or Saturday) before I play the new levels. Once I do, I'll jump back in the Star Tournament and start tracking the levels that give the old fish as much as I can, and try to update my diagram to show them. It's kind of fun documenting the Star Tournament. I do wonder if my list of levels matches everyone else's. It appears there were 20 levels (irregularly scattered through the 101) there which I saw for the first 3 weeks but have disappeared, so now I just cycle through 81 levels over and over again.
😂Oh no you literally didn't understand. Here are 4 points that will clear your doubts.
2. And you said fish attacks sour skulls first. Then what about thing which is going to after the sour skulls are destroyed? They start attacking mixers.
3. Next thing, the most important thing you haven't noticed. I used the frog to destroy the toffee swirls. And you can't destroy a mixer fully by a frog if you don't have clear squares next to the mixers. And the next point is that frog can't be charged easily in this level because after the first move. Frog completely stucks in a closed area with toffee swirls so you have to use those colorbomb bon bon blitz to charge it.
4. Maybe you don't know about the phases of the mixers. The nails remaining in the mixer depicts vyou how much time it was damaged. Or maybe you don't about those red and black candy cane blockers? They completely prevent you from attacking the thing beneath it by a special candy out side the covered area. So the main point you missed is that mixers' phase. They all should be on the same phase, if not attacked by fish. Because only horizontal striped candies can destroy them.
My screenshots clearly explain all the necessary points unless you don't have knowledge about how these blockers work.
Believe me, you'll only understand what happens here once you play this level
I'm trying to, but my old iPad seems to be terminal and won't charge. I can't get into the account I'd need to try the level out. I do really want to have a go at it. I like a frog level.
I do know all that. Unfortunately at the moment my old iPad won't charge and I can't get into my Poppy account to check this level out and see what went wrong. I do NOT see your point of all the mixers having to be in phase. What difference does that make to the outcome of the level? The mixers are meant to be destroyed. What they spawn is not needed. Why care if the fish attack them? The order for this level is to destroy all fiver mixers.
I don't know why you don't understand the simple point I'm stating. The order is to destroy them that's correct. But what happens when they destroyed seperately. (Maybe you don't know about this thing. That's why you are confused.)
When they are getting destroyed seperately, they spawns bonbon blitz sepearately. So the outcome is different. Example: when they spawn collectively, according to the algorithm they just fill up the bottom line. But when done it separately, one mixer spawns 3 at a time. So it fills up the board
I have recorded enough evidence, though I can't post it here cuz they don't allow mp4 files.
Anyway if you compare my screenshots with the following video(without fish) or maybe the other videos in youtube, you'll get more context. Eventhough if it doesn't, I don't know to explain this, in a way you could understand.
And I won't visit this site again, because I quitted already.
@SH24 appears to have a valid point. In older videos, the mixers spawn blitzes in sync, but the maximum amount of blitzes they can spawn at once seems to be capped. When fish damage some of the mixers, they go out of sync, spawning occurs more frequently, and the board fills up much more quickly. I also noted that the level that was marked as 'Normal' not long ago has now become Legendary. However, with the right frog sequence, I passed.
I managed to get the iPad going and managed to pass the level with ease. As you were suggesting above I might not understand how to play Candy Crush I would like to show you how this level should be played, and illustrate that it is working perfectly fine:
Carry out the suggested moves or the best possible moves to get the sour skull and free both the frog and the magic mixers as early as possible.
Now I place the frog in the middle of the toffee swirls.
Now use the colour bomb bonbon blitz to recharge the frog. At the same time we need to ensure that we don't get swamped by the bonbon blitz to avoid the "no more possible move" scenario.
I carry on to destroy the toffee swirls and eventually the striped candies will drop. I can see now where you made your fatal mistake: You must NOT place the frog on the bottom row. Place it in the middle. That way the magic mixers can be destroyed using stipe/stripe combos as seen here:
and here:
This level is easy to pass if you understand how to use the frog and understand the game in general. I passed with the next move with the stripe/stripe combo.
I know you said you would not return to this thread and I doubt you will answer here. The fishes have no noticeable effect on this level either to help or hinder. It's a shame I had to spoil my thread with an off topic post, but it was fun to prove my point.
It might as well be best if you do quit. Farewell.
I am beginning to wonder if King are starting to change the fish behaviour, essentially making this thread obsolete. In this particular level the fish did not go for the sour skull as a priority. They attacked frosting instead. Can it be that we don't all get the same levels now? Do King manipulate outcome with the way the fish are programmed?
