My game was reset yesterday by you at level 1279 and when I beat that level and push level 1280 the screen goes to my main I pad screen and kicks me out of candy crush

If you want to try uninstall and install steps, you have your gold bars are saved/transfered but all of the boosters have lost and some events will be reset and gone.

If it happens often, don't uninstall the game. Wait for the next update. Possibly the last update was downloaded incorrectly.
Try turning off the device and restarting it
