Is anyone else finding that the fish remove random candies in Rainbow Rapids levels rather than helping you clear a path for the rainbow to reach the mold?
In level 7814, for example, there is a ton of chocolate and wafers on the board blocking the rainbow path, but when you release 3 jelly fish, they just take out 3 random candies on the board rather than the chocolate or wafers blocking the rainbow path.
In level 7814, lots of fish spawners are placed at the top of the board. Clearly, you're supposed to use the fish provided to help you clear the path, but you actually just get burned when releasing fish because they don't actually help you at all.
This level is just one example. I'm constantly frustrated that the fish could be helping clear the path for the rainbows but don't. Aren't fish supposed to help you somehow on the board? If there are no orders for the fish to help with, fine, eat a random candy. But when the goal is to clear the rainbow path, the fish should be helping with that.
@tscheip Hi and welcome, Yes i find the Swedish fish of little help on these levels. Not sure why they are not helpful but with all the new changes and blockers i am not sure on what the Swedish fish are supposed to attack eat now. We could do with a new description of what the Swedish fish will or wont do.
I will pass this on to the CM to see if can get more information
Thank you
Yes, striped candies (or bombs) with fish can be very helpful!
I'm more concerned about fish on their own in regards to this issue. In the photo you posted, three striped fish could land on the board and totally miss the blockage for the rainbow path. If fish functioned properly in Rainbow Rapids levels, you would be guaranteed the fish would take out 3 chocolates or wafers in the rainbow path. Currently, they just eat random candies.
If the goal is to collect a certain number of chocolate, the fish always eat the chocolate. So why don't they always eat chocolate when helping to clear a path for the rainbow?
It just seems like something that should be tweaked. If fish are supposed to help, they should help you clear the rainbow path. Otherwise what's the point of using a fish booster?
If the order for the level is to collect chocolate, the fish will always eat chocolate until the order is filled to help you meet the order and pass the level. If the level is to collect jellies, the fish will go to squares of jelly before squares of non-jelly to help you clear the jelly and pass the level.
That's what fish do. They help you collect the orders. They do not randomly eat candies on every level. So on Rainbow Rapids levels, they should help you clear the rainbow path, not just eat random candies.
Are people really confused about fish helping you? What in the world would be the point of a "booster" that just randomly pecks away at the board every level?
