Hey there.
It seems like you're not part of an experimental test group (of guinea pigs); see here.
Some will get adverts & others won't, different people get different features.
So you just have to deal with the experiment for as long as it lasts, but (try to) have fun.
And do not delete the game, as any accumulated boosters/received game lives would also be deleted; see this.

Assuming your game is saved, log out of it and close the programme for a minute or so (even turn off your device & restart it); then open it and log back in, also try clearing the cache (& play any level on the map) to see if it will help.
Those are the standard things to do when encountering this sort of thing, but do not delete the game in the attempt to restore the feature; saved boosters & received game lives go with that, see this.
But you're basically at the mercy of those tasked with maintaining the game on whether or not you get this restored to you...

Sometimes it’s also possible that you are unable to play these because you don’t have the latest version of the app or a stable Internet connection, or simply you’re not connected to the Kingdom or Facebook. You can also try opening the game, logging out of the Kingdom or Facebook, closing the game, then finally re-opening and connecting again. Some of these tricks may work for you.
If they don’t, it’s just a matter of time. You may not be amongst the selected group at the moment but soon you’ll be the lucky one to enjoy the new challenges as well as your friends!

The video ad feature is still a test feature, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Booster or other items from this feature.
This also means that the video ad feature will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.
So if you at the moment are missing the video ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when it's back.
