Hi all,
I've also experienced grey out chocolate box also a message stating "can't connect to the server". If you received this message, simply close the box, wait for few seconds. After that, I'm able to select the quests in the chocolate box again.
As for the greyed out area on the claim button, I just ignore it and continue playing few levels still I'm out of lives. When I return to the game half and hour later, it allows me to play.
Thus, please patience and the issue will fixes itself and it varies among players. Just take note.

the candy box does not recognize when I have completed the task and is stuck. This is happening on my computer and IPad. I have restarted both with no change. I have also deleted one completed task and reset to another which I also completed but it's still stuck. It has been this way for over a week. How can this been rectified?
@commack4 @Beza242008Tiffywit Hi and welcome, As poster by out superstar @kiara_wael This issue is being investigated, unfortunately there is no time for a fix on this at present
The only fix i know at present for mobile devices is uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as a few people reported this solved there issue, but if you do this on a mobile device you LOSE and stored BOOSTERS or LIVES and cannot say it would guarantee a fix, just many have said it solved there issue
