The Anniversary badges like this HERE for 5 years are how long you have been a member of the Community. Not how long you have played the game.
The Community has been live a bit more than two years, but it replaced the old King Care site and players that were members of King Care transferred over their accounts including badges and history to the new Community.
I can see in our system that your account were created in January 2020, therefore you only received the 1st Anniversary badge.

I was just wondering how do we go about obtaining the Anniversary badges...I have been playing the game for almost 8 years and I recently only received the 1st Anniversary badge but I see other crushers who have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and even 6th Anniversary badges.

This badge has nothing to do with the game play.

I have seen many Newbie's with all of these badges and they aren't even active in the community

You're right, it used to be a King.com page, but later the page changed to King Community.๐

I would also like to add that it doesnt matter that how much you are active or not active. Once you create your profile in the community then your time span starts so it will be carry forward even you dont use it afterwards.

Well I also created my profile a long time ago but I only got the first-anniversary badge,

Here is my example : I was joined King Community on 14th July 2018. On 14th July 2019, I got 1st Anniversary Badge. On 14th July 2020, I got 2nd Anniversary Badge. I hope you can understand to read it. ๐
